Mr. Shama-e Zaheer is chairperson of Mir Group and Director-Operations & Chief Operating Officer in Mir Akhter Hossain Limited

He born in Dhaka, Bangladesh and having spent his teen and adulthood in Bangladesh, Shama-e Zaheer, is an avid consumer of tv shows, music, books and websites. He has two MBAs in Finance & International Business, one from Institute of Business Administration (IBA), University of Dhaka, Bangladesh, another from Goijueta Business School, Emory University, Atlanta, GA, USA under the prestigious Junior Fulbright Program.

He teaches at IBA, and is on the board, either as Chairman or Director, of a number of companies under the reputed Mir Group, a leading business house in Bangladesh, whose businesses span from cement, through construction and real estate to software. He is married to Sitwat Mariam Donna, who dabbles in art, fashion, music, movies and books. Shama-e likes to ideate on apps, social networks and enterprise software.
